Schumer can go fuck himself

[–] matlag@sh.itjust.works 19 points 1 day ago

Well, it was pretty obvious that his job was not to fight for the US and their citizens.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago

Of all the things, funding another fucking country that already has universal health care is absolutely NOT your fucking job, asshole.

I'm sure many Israelis look over here at clueless marks funding them and their lifestyle of apartheid and murder and just laugh at us...

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 17 points 1 day ago

How about you fight for your electorate you decrepit bastard.

[–] nkat2112@sh.itjust.works 101 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Dereliction of duty in such a high office is horrible.

Moreover, enabling genocide is unacceptable.

And this is what AIPAC Chuck Schumer will be remembered for.

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 50 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's treason, not dereliction.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 20 points 2 days ago

Haven't you heard? Treason is acceptable now. You are allowed to commit treason if you have a solid, selfish reason for it. Selling out your country for a lot of money is at the top of the list of acceptable reasons for Treason.

[–] electric_nan@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 day ago

It's worse than treason. It's crimes against humanity.

[–] Gnomie@lemmy.world 66 points 2 days ago (3 children)

why are the needs of the citizens of another country more important than the needs of the citizens of his own country?

[–] fossilesque@mander.xyz 30 points 2 days ago (4 children)

I'm more worried that he cares for his imaginary friends more than his own constituents.

[–] CmdrShepard49@sh.itjust.works 3 points 15 hours ago

Oh, so not only is he a traitor but also insane.

[–] Gnomie@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago

Yeah, that’s pretty weird.

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 16 points 2 days ago (1 children)

https://youtu.be/dijMKwZMU2Q

He cares about them so much that LWT went and found them.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 7 points 1 day ago

His own made up middle class reactionaries don't even support him. He's playing to the imaginary middle, that even in his imagination are supporting republicans. Meanwhile spiting the actual left they can't win elections without, as well as the half of the population that doesn't vote because there are no good options and because all they will get are people like schumer perenially shaming them for not pretending they aren't doing a fine job to justify the leaders' losses.

[–] Stamau123@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

Actual insanity

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 29 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Because they pay him more money. 🤌

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 19 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Which is crazy because they're paying him with money they get from America.

[–] mrdown@lemmy.world 11 points 2 days ago

Aipac is financed by american zionists, it was always american money not israeli

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Doesn't matter the citizenship of the assholes. They want to prop up the defense industry with more contracts and protect other financial interests of the wealthy. Its a class thing not a nationality/ethnic/religious thing.

[–] village604@adultswim.fan 7 points 2 days ago

Because the other country pays him to put their needs first.

Tar & feather him. It's almost better than he deserves.

[–] Someonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Shame on all the stupid fucks in New York who'd vote for this treacherous old piece of shit.

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

The vote shamers hard at work. Try getting a good candidate to begin with and they will shout you down, but after they have their guy the other guy is worse and it's your fault when they lose because you didn't believe hard enough, didn't pretend they were doing a good job.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

rich counties often vote R even in blue states.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago

Chuck the cuck doing his best to sit and watch America get fucked over.

[–] supersquirrel@sopuli.xyz 38 points 2 days ago

Controlled opposition not even bothering to disguise itself.

[–] ThanksObama@sh.itjust.works 32 points 2 days ago (1 children)
[–] nova_ad_vitum@lemmy.ca 2 points 21 hours ago

The number AIPAC pays him actually doesn't mean much because Schumer is so central to their operations that they would pay him literally whatever be needed to stay in power. 1.7M is just what it cost to keep him in power. They would gladly give him 20M if that's what it took.

[–] Zink@programming.dev 9 points 1 day ago

We've had one, yes, but what about second genocide?

[–] galoisghost@aussie.zone 31 points 2 days ago

New York needs to enable recall elections. This cunt should be kicked to the curb

[–] ugandan_airways@lemmy.zip 26 points 2 days ago

Senile self-satisfied old fuck needs to be forcibly removed. But who knows who they’d actually replace him with because it’d probably be another pro-Israel democrat who thinks Amazon deserves more tax breaks and that ICE isn’t that bad.

Make Treason punishable by death again!

Treason- The betrayal of allegiance toward one's own country, especially by committing hostile acts against it or aiding its enemies in committing such acts.

Definition: In Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, treason is specifically limited to levying war against the U.S., or adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort.[1]

Penalty: Under U.S. Code Title 18, the penalty is death,[34][35] or not less than five years' imprisonment (with a minimum fine of $10,000, if not sentenced to death). Any person convicted of treason against the United States also forfeits the right to hold public office in the United States.[36]

We should bring everyone on this list up on charges https://www.trackaipac.com/congress

[–] mrdown@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Basically all alive presidents of the united snakes would be executed

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago

Let’s start with the people actually currently holding power. They will be sentenced in proportion to their crimes against the American people and then be sent to the hauge to be sentenced for their war crimes against the citizens of Gaza

[–] dylanmorgan@slrpnk.net 11 points 2 days ago (1 children)

And maybe that would lead future presidents to consider very carefully the kinds of actions they take.

[–] village604@adultswim.fan 7 points 2 days ago

Don't temp me with a good time

I mean, that says "enemies." Unless Israel is considered an enemy, it's not treason.

[–] deacon@lemmy.world 14 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Please go away and don't stop leaving Chuck. You are worse than useless, you are malign.

[–] stylusmobilus@aussie.zone 1 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (2 children)

They get the quality of leader that as a collective they vote for.

Since fuckall turn out for primaries and 60% for the main vote, Schumer reflects the vote in terms of quality and effort.

When Americans start ~~blaming themselves~~ taking responsibility for where they are, they might fix it.

Edits for clarity

[–] hector@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

There is no one challenging anyone in power. You can't blame the voters alone for not turning out to vote for, no one. The problem is not the electorate, it's the system that is so corrupted that no one thinks they can make a difference and just surrenders it to them, even as surrendering it to them leaves us wide open to fascists seeking to put a permanent fix in.

We need new leadership, inside and outside the party, and we don't need new primaries for leadership outside the party. There is no time like the present. Until you bring that you cannot blame the voters as they don't have any other options.

[–] deacon@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I agree completely. We get the government we deserve, as a whole.

Trump and fascism are not the seed, they are the fruit.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 17 points 2 days ago

It is LONG past time for the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck and Jeffries to get the hook, and be dragged off stage.

Then we can kick their asses in the alley out back, the fucking treasonous losers.

Cuck Schumer

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world -5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-New York) said on Sunday that one of his most important jobs as Senate minority leader is to “fight for aid to Israel,” as the Trump administration’s masked federal agents continue their deadly raids of the U.S. with little to no pushback from Democrats.

In remarks at a breakfast gathering of Jewish leaders in New York City, Schumer said, “I have many jobs as leader … and one is to fight for aid to Israel, all the aid that Israel needs.” Part of the remarks at the UJA-Federation of New York gathering were posted online by The Forwardreporter Jacob Kornbluh. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) also spoke at the event.

Tankie bait

He shouldn't really be there in the first place.
