Why aren’t Ray Guy winners (best collegiate punter) more successful in the NFL? Only 4 of the last 10 winners are still in the NFL. It would seem punting would be a skill that easily translates to the NFL. Thinking about it because Adam Korsak (22 winner) is lighting it up in the CFL without getting a sniff in the NFL.

We have these beautiful creatures prancing about, barely clothed, and the NFL thinks I'd rather see Aaron Rogers in his headset pacing the sidelines. WTF!

NOTES

  1. The Baltimore Ravens are officially considered an expansion team that started in 1996, despite never having held an expansion draft. The records from 1995 and previously are claimed by the Cleveland Browns.

  2. The Cleveland Browns claim the records and championships of the team that was located in Cleveland before 1995, despite all players and personnel relocating to Baltimore and calling themselves the Ravens. They officially went "on hiatus" for 3 years and resumed their records in 1999.

  3. The NFL expanded from 14 games to 16 games in 1978. A Bye Week was not added until 1989.

  4. No team has ever won 17 games, as the regular season was not expanded to 17 games until 2021.

  5. The 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only team to ever go undefeated in the regular season and also win the Super Bowl.

In the giants vs cowboys, the giants went wild cat and put devito in motion. When he did he would also turn around run backwards and put his hands up as if he were asking for the ball. Is that not a false start? Or illegal shift at least?

1281

I know that no one would have thought to ask him, but what a roller coaster… and the season is only half over.

They are not some disgustingly horrible unit like chargers fans say, and if Herbert was really as good as people say, he would be able to win SOMETHING with the team around him.

I mean damn, Russ has produced similarly both statistically and win wise with a much worse defence, arguably the worst receiving core in the league, no run game, and worse protection.

But according to this sub he's a washed trash fraud qb who's stealing paychecks yet Herbert is an MVP level god tier qb who just can't overcome the terrible team around him.

Makes zero sense, just a bunch of confirmation bias and people who can't admit they were wrong.

L Dolphins 34-36 L @Titans 24-27 L Cowboys 17-20 L Lions 38-41

This team is anti-clutch. Changes need to be made next season.

Daniel jones got 2 TD passes in 6 games. Tommy Devito has 3 already. Jones really got the bag for doing nothing

When an NFL game is already a blowout and it's the 4th quarter, is there any strategic reason to score more points on the already embarrassed opponent? All I can think of is points scored for playoff tiebreakers. I question that motive because of all the end of game kneels that occur. Any other reasons? Put a show on for the crowd maybe?
