I think it was Adam Mockler just recently debating some conservative chud and that guy brought up the "Hunter Biden laptop" and how the government put their thumb on the scales when it came to having that just run wild on the platforms of Facebook and Xitter, etc.

You can tell that many of them probably literally cried about it at the time that Biden won despite the "laptop". They seem to have emotional scars about it and they feel personally attacked that their ratfucking with the "laptop" didn't work out. I bet some of these people - this guy was probably in his twenties - will still be talking about that stupid "laptop" 50 years from now.

Well, the Bidens are Catholics so their anger is part of their upbringing. In England, they just call them Papists, but here in America, the protestants have gotten so wild, they breath condemnation...which makes me wonder about their ephemeral allegiances.

I used to know a radical evangelical that would say all kinds of stuff I would just be dumbstruck by - one was that even though he was raised Catholic and most of his family was still Catholic, he not only thought Catholics were not "real" xtians, but that they were "pagans" (his word for pretty much every person not a Southern Baptist, including atheists and other xtians).
Now, I happened to remember all the invective Jack Chick aimed at Catholics with his comics, but I never thought I'd hear an adult repeat this kind of thing.
Also, I had recently read Robert Anton Wilson's rather tongue-in-cheek comparison of Catholics to paganism, due to all the saints and so on...
I did ask this particular individual if he thought he'd even know what xtianity was if it wasn't for Catholicism....I don't remember his answer. IIRC, it was utterly incoherent....

The GOP caused this problem in the first place. They could have rejected Trump any time in the last decade, but they chose this path instead.

You don't get that rich by ever feeling like you have enough. They just always want more.
The idea is that Trump's corruption is SO obvious that the GOP is afraid they'll get whipped in the midterms. Trump is certainly attacking the election system hard enough to show he agrees on that part at least, if not the idea of being less greedy.

This might be a good time to remind you all that a significant part of this wealth has been accumulated in the past two years. In fact, when NYS was going after his companies, and those big financial judgements came in, it was assumed he didn't have that much liquid cash on hand, and would have to liquidate some of his properties to pay it off.
But then not only did the judgement get reduced, and he got reelected, but he also found crypto. He stated his Trump coin only a few days before inauguration, and has made bank on it.
All this wealth is due primarily to fleecing his supporters into buying his meme coin.
Oh don't forget whatever bribes get laundered through it too
